FAQ
Questions We Often Get Answered
Have questions about our brush clearing services? Here are quick answers covering pricing, equipment, timelines, and what to expect before getting started.

What is forestry mulching?
Forestry mulching grinds brush, saplings, and small trees into mulch in place. It clears land efficiently without hauling, burning, or leaving large debris piles.
How much does brush clearing cost?
Pricing depends on the size of the area, density of growth, terrain, and accessibility. Projects are typically priced either hourly or as a fixed quote after reviewing the property.
What size trees and brush can you handle?
Our setup can handle everything from grass and heavy brush up to trees typically 6–8 inches in diameter as part of standard mulching work.
For larger material, we can often manage it as part of the project using additional techniques or equipment when needed.
Do you remove the material or leave it on site?
Material is processed into mulch and left on the ground. This helps reduce erosion and returns organic matter to the soil.
Can you remove stumps or perform excavation work?
Yes. In addition to forestry mulching, we can handle stump removal, light excavation, and site preparation when needed as part of a clearing project.
Larger or specialized excavation work may require additional equipment or services.
Will your equipment damage my property?
Our equipment is designed to minimize ground disturbance compared to heavy machinery like bulldozers. However, some surface impact may occur depending on soil conditions and terrain.
What kind of access do you need?
We typically need an access path that is at least 8–10 feet wide for our equipment. We can work in wooded areas and tighter spaces, but access, terrain, slopes, and obstacles (such as large rocks, fences, or structures) will determine what is possible.
If access is limited, we can review the property and recommend the best approach.
How long does a project take?
Many residential projects can be completed in one to two days. Larger or more complex properties may take longer.
Can you work in wet or muddy conditions?
Ground conditions matter. In wet or soft conditions, work may need to be delayed to avoid unnecessary damage to the property.
Do I need permits before clearing land?
Property owners are responsible for ensuring compliance with local, state, and wetland regulations before work begins.
What areas do you serve?
We serve southern and central New Hampshire, including Candia, Raymond, Deerfield, Auburn, Chester, Derry, Hooksett, Manchester, and surrounding towns within approximately a 30-mile radius.
More Than Just Brush Clearing
Our setup is built to handle more than just cutting and mulching. In addition to forestry mulching, we can take on key follow-up work that many properties need to fully complete a project.
What we can handle:
- Stump removal (when full removal is needed beyond mulching)
- Light excavation and site prep
- Trail clearing and shaping
- Field and land restoration
This allows you to move from overgrown land to a usable space without immediately needing a second contractor.
Important to know:
Forestry mulching remains the primary service. While our equipment is capable of excavation-related work, larger or specialized excavation projects (such as foundations, or major grading) may require additional equipment or services.
